Whitelee Wind Farm

Hypostyle are the project architects for a visitor centre currently under construction at the new Whitelee Wind Farm to the south of Glasgow. Whitelee is currently the largest on shore wind farm in the UK.

The construction phase of the visitor centre is on target for completion later in the summer and this will be followed by a period of internal fit-out.

The final fit-out will include the installation of various multi-media and interactive displays explaining the construction of the wind farm and its functions. As well as the main exhibition space the visitor centre will also include a separate education room along with a café and shop.
