Coltness Memorial Church

Hypostyle have a long history of working together on this 'B' Listed church with its congregation. In 1996 we were involved in the erection of eight terraced dwellings in the church grounds. These were built by a developer, who in turn for the ground, built a new church hall and manse, also designed by ourselves.

In 2006 Hypostyle were commissioned to carry out emergency repairs to the roof and stonework to this Grade 'B' Listed church. A successful Stage 2 Heritage Lottery Fund Application was submitted as part of the Project, which involved the preparation of maintenance plans and access audits. The project was completed in February 2007.

Further upgrade is still required to the church however limited funding only enabled the emergency works at this stage be carried out. We have recently completed a full building analysis outlining the remaining works and the Church plans to submit a Stage 2 application to Heritage Lottery Fund soon.
