Maryhill Locks - Phase 2

Hypostyle Architects have recently submitted an application for Planning Permission, on behalf of Maryhill Housing Association, for the re-development of a brownfield site, to the north of Gairbraid  Avenue, Glasgow.

This site comprises the second phase of the Maryhill Locks Masterplan, the first phase being currently under construction to the north of Maryhill Locks in the area known as the Botany.

The proposed development will generally follow the form and scale as suggested within the Masterplan.  The development will contain a housing mix of various sized homes, from two to eight person, in a variety of housing typologies, terraced houses, cottage flats and flats.

The site will be developed for approximately 125 homes with a mix of properties for social rent.
