This project was the winning design in a competition promoted by North Lanarkshire Council for 22 homes for the frail and elderly, along with 18 houses for sale.

The key to the success of this design is its sustainability. Energy-saving solar panels are used to preheat the water for the communal heating system while photovoltaic panels provide electricity for lighting the communal areas and corridors.
