Keith Stewart

After graduating from Strathclyde University in 1981, Keith moved to Oxford where he became part of the design team for the construction of Milton Keynes DGH. He returned to Glasgow two years later to join the CSA Building Division where he became the site architect for the redevelopment of Stirling Royal Infirmary.

Keith went on to be the Project Architect for the Western Isles Hospital and for Yorkhill Theatres. Following a period with W. S. Atkins in Glasgow, where he designed Hereford County Hospital PFI, he joined Hypostyle Architects in 1999 as Healthcare Design Director.

Keith’s experience lies in the design of major healthcare buildings, management of multi-discipline design teams, private finance initiatives and design and build. Keith also has extensive experience in a range of procurement procedures on construction projects, including management contracting. He is currently Shadow Design Team Leader/Employer's Agent for the Beatson Oncology Phase II project.
