Building Maintenance Reports

Hypostyle are regularly appointed to develop Building Maintenance Reports for a wide variety of properties. In the first instance a Maintenance Report is an excellent way to ascertain the overall condition of your property. All elements of the external fabric including roofs, chimneys, gutters and stonework will be assessed and recommendations provided for necessary (if any) remedial works.

A typical Building Maintenance Report could include:

- History & Significance of the property

- Assessment of existing condition of property

- Recommended Repairs (these would be prioritised and timescales

provided in order that works may be phased as required)

- Schedule of probable costs for the works

- Photographs to illustrate the areas being proposed as requiring

  repairs or areas of concern

- Possible grant funding options available

Once a Building Maintenance Report has been prepared, remedial works can be carried out as desired by the Client. Costs for our reports vary depending on the size and condition of the property and associated defects, and can be tailored to suit the Client’s requirements.

If your property is in need of repair or if you are suffering from water ingress problems Hypostyle can assist by identifying the defect and advising/ implementing the repair works required.
