Environmental Policy Statement
Hypostyle is committed to upholding and maintaining its Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) that controls the impacts Hypostyle’s design activities may have upon the environment consistent with its environmental objectives/targets and legal requirements.
Hypostyle also recognizes the importance the general public and wider community place on environmental issues, which is why our aim is to foster a resolute and attentive attitude through adherence to our environmental policies and methodologies.
In order to achieve these aims, Hypostyle will be committed to ensuring:
- Our own energy use is reduced;
- We comply with all statutory requirements, permissions and
authorisations;
- Our designs in layout, form and material specification, are prepared
with due regard to their effect on the environment;
- Recommendations are made for the adoption of sustainable
measures in our designs;
- Pollution prevention methods are kept to the fore in all our designs;
- We seek ways to improve our environmental performance;
- The general public has access to our environmental policy;
- The environmental policy is monitored for effectiveness;
- All environmental objectives and targets are reviewed periodically for
effectiveness;
- Employees receive appropriate training;
- The QEMS is subject to continual improvement;
