Abbey Road
Abbey Road, Riverside, Stirling
Winner of Architect/Developer competition held by Stirling Council to develop riverside site for both private and rented housing.
The main theme of the design is to create a landscaped riverside walkway to the River Forth on the South boundary of the site and link the walkway through the site back to Abbey Road on the North boundary.
Three storey flats and townhouses form the frontage to the river breaking open into a circus form at the connection to the riverside walkway. Two storey family housing accommodation will be built to the North section of the site for both Forth Housing Association Ltd. and Cowanes Housing Association Ltd.
